Thriving in a Digital World: My CSA Conference Session on Aging and AI
Exploring digital literacy, lifelong learning, and the promise of AI for older adults
I’m excited to be presenting this August at the CSA’s Annual Conference in Baltimore. This will be my first time attending—and speaking—at a conference focused specifically on aging. I anticipate a great deal of learning and meaningful exchange.
Session Title and Description:
Digital Literacy and AI for Older Adults: Thriving in a Changing World
In today’s fast-changing digital landscape, older adults must continuously adapt to new technologies to remain independent, engaged, and informed. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping how we access information, communicate, and make decisions, yet many older adults face barriers to digital adoption. This session explores the importance of lifelong learning in aging, focusing on digital literacy and AI tools that can enhance cognitive resilience, social connection, and everyday decision-making.

Feel free to suggest other topics I should address.
I am adding links to the one-pagers as they are finalized, one each week over the next couple of months.
